Itinerary Details: 10 days/9 nights

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

Namaste. Welcome to India! Arrive at Delhi International airport. You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Delhi is a bustling metropolis that incorporates the ancient with the modern. Amidst the skyscrapers, the monuments stand as a silent reminder to India's legacy. Driving from the airport, you will be impressed with Delhi's spacious, tree-lined streets and garden parks. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi—Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. The Kathmandu Valley, consisting of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur, may have been inhabited as early as 900 BC. The city houses various Hindu and Buddhist temples as well as the King's Palace. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Optional morning flight to view Mt. Everest. After breakfast, visit the sights of Kathmandu: Kumari Bahal, the Temple of the Living Goddess; Kasthamandap, the wooden house that gave Kathmandu its name; Durbar Square, the central area housing an array of temples; the Royal Palace, overlooked by the ancient Hanuman Dhoka; and Swayambhunath, the 2000 year old Buddhist stupa. In the afternoon, take a tour of Patan city, built in 3rd century AD by Emperor Ashoka. Patan boasts of fine arts enclosed within 4 stupas. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 4: Kathmandu—Dhulikhel

In the morning visit Pasupatinath, the famous Lord Shiva Temple and Hindu cremation ground, and Boudhnath, the 2500 year old Buddhist stupa. Transfer from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, en-route visiting Bhadgaon. Bhadgaon is known as Bhaktapur, or "the City of Devotees." Explore the Nyatapola Temple, built by King Bhupatindra Malla, and the best example of Pagoda style temples. Arrive in Dhulikhel, an ancient town famous for its scenic beauty and the traditional lifestyle of its people. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. Check into your hotel. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 5: Dhulikhel—Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to the lakeside resort valley of Pokhara. From here, view the magnificent peaks of Mt. Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Himalchuli. Pokhara is an ideal locale for outdoor activities such as swimming, boating on the Phewa lake, pony treks, short hikes and mountain cycling. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 6: Pokhara

In the morning, enjoy a half day tour of Pokhara. This beautiful valley is situated at a height of 2950 ft. and has snow clad peaks, crystal-clear lakes, gorges and picturesque villages. Pokhara is inhabited by friendly and smiling Gurungs, Magars and other ethnic tribes. One of the most popular excursions is to paddle out to the little island offshore from lakeside, on which there is a small temple. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 7: Pokhara—Chitwan

After breakfast drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be briefed about the programs and camp facilities by the Guest Relations Officer. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 8: Chitwan

Full day of activities in Chitwan Park, encompassing 360 square miles of tall grassland and thick forests. Enjoy a jungle safari on elephant back or Land Rover, nature walks, canoeing and bird watching. The two prized animals of the Chitwan Park are the Royal Bengal Tiger and the great One Horned Rhinoceros. You may also view leopard, gaur, sloth bear, wild boar, sambar deer, spotted deer, hog deer, and over 400 identified species of birds. Overnight at Chitwan.

Day 9: Chitwan—Kathmandu

Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore the winding streets and vibrant markets. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure

Morning at leisure. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival check-in for your onward flight. Bon Voyage!
